As a restaurant constructed entirely out of shipping containers while serving up dishes inspired by Jamaican and Hawaiian cuisine, Island Shrimp Co. serves as a coastal escape in an inland community.

Project Recap:
Our team wanted to focus design elements and the overall aesthetic on a lived-in, barefoot feel — pulling inspiration from tropical locations to create bright, welcoming visuals full of salty, sand-blasted texture.
Researching port towns and shipping lines fueled the use of seals, logo bugs, and illustration throughout—we even created a fictitious shipping company for the exterior of the restaurant.
I worked in collaboration with our creative director and the owner of the restaurant to deliver mural design, wayfinding, food and drink menus, food paper, postcards, koozies, digital marketing assets, web artwork and design, shipping container graphics, interior design, and merch.
